Wheelchair Transport
Wheelchair Transport When you Need It
One of the biggest challenges for those people in a wheelchair is arranging wheelchair transport or other types of accessible transportation. While if a patient has an emergency they can call on an ambulance, what is available for a patient who needs non-emergency transport? While some patients may have friends or family that do not mind giving them a ride, that is not always the case. Plus, it can simply make you feel more independent when you can arrange your rides yourself and not feel like you are putting undue pressure on those you care about most.
This is where Calibur comes into the picture. We offer patient transport service. Not only do we offer wheelchair transport, but we can help patients who are bedbound too. We handle every patient with unique levels of care--ensuring they not only get where they need to be but that they will be comfortable every step of the way too. What could be better than that?
Another service we offer is accessible transportation for patients who are ambulatory or moderately ambulatory too. We know that sometimes for a patient that has minor mobility issues that it can be difficult to trust Uber, Lift or the other ride sharing transports available. We have additional support and services that you simply cannot find anywhere else.
Our goal is to make transport an easy task for those who are most challenged. Whether transport needs to be in a chair, a stretcher or sitting up in a standard seat, we go the extra mile to make every patient feel comfortable so they can get to and from their appointments with no worries. If you would like more information, reach out to us at Caliber today. We look forward to working with you!
