Wheelchair Transport

One of the biggest challenges for those people in a wheelchair is arranging wheelchair transport or other types of accessible transportation. While if a patient has an emergency they can call on an ambulance, what is available for a patient who needs non-emergency transport? While some patients may have friends or family that do not mind giving them a ride, that is not always the case. Plus, it can simply make you feel more independent when you can arrange your rides yourself and not feel like you are putting undue pressure on those you care about most.
